- Where is the Holiday Light Show?
- Camp Edey is excited to welcome back our Holiday Light Show for the first time since 2016! This immersive, walk-through experience is returning to Bayport, bringing festive magic back to where it all began. Guests will enjoy a scenic stroll through more than a quarter-mile of dazzling lighted displays, including our iconic giant lighted Christmas tree, with plenty of fun photo opportunities along the way. This year, Santa will be making his special visits in our cozy lodge, offering families the perfect spot for those memorable holiday photos. The Chill Zone will feature fire pits, music, and games to keep the holiday spirit alive, and the Girl Scout Shoppe will be open with festive goodies and Girl Scout merch for sale.
- What are the show dates and hours this year?
- The 2024 Holiday Light Show runs on Fridays and Saturdays only starting the Friday after Thanksgiving (November 29) through the Saturday before Christmas (December 21). The show opens at 5pm and closes at 9pm. Sundays may be offered as rain dates, if necessary.
- Show dates: Friday November 29, Saturday November 30, Friday December 6, Saturday December 7, Friday December 13, Saturday December 14, Friday December 20, Saturday December 21.
- Why aren't you doing a drive-through show any more?
- We transitioned from a drive-through to a walk-through Holiday Light Show to create a more immersive and engaging experience for our guests. The walk-through format allows families and friends to really take their time, explore the beautiful light displays up close, and enjoy interactive elements like photo opportunities, fire pits, and games in a more relaxed and festive atmosphere. Plus, it aligns with our goal of fostering a stronger sense of community and connection, something that can be harder to achieve when everyone is in their cars.
- If I buy a ticket, can I go any night?
- No. Guests must purchase tickets ahead of time. All tickets must be purchased for a specific date and arrival time. We do this to ensure we don't oversell the event and all guests can have an enjoyable experience.

Just make sure you get in the parking lot before the gate closes, which is 10 minutes after the last timeslot of the evening. You can always enter later than your timeslot, just not earlier.

- Do you offer group sales?
- Are you and Riverhead Light Show the same?
- No, we are not affiliated with the Riverhead Holiday Light Show or the Magic of Lights at Jones Beach. Our Holiday Light Show has been running since 2004 and started at our Girl Scout Camp Edey in Bayport. Our show has always been to support Girl Scouts of Suffolk County and the funds raised go back into our programming and financial scholarships to support girls from all backgrounds across Suffolk County.
