Garden Service Project @ Bayard Cutting Arboretum
For girls ages 10 & up: Come by to assist the farm staff with an ongoing garden service project. Help identify perennial plants/herbs to keep for next year while removing the weeds and discarding produce from the Community Supported Agriculture Farm (CSA).
- Date & Time: Saturday, September 13th, 9:30 - 11:30 AM
- Place: Bayard Cutting Arboretum, 440 Montauk Hwy, Great River, NY 11739
- This is a FREE event. Both adults and children must be registered to attend—a completed form per person. Patch is not included. Please note there is an $8.00 parking fee.
- Please bring a light snack, water, and garden gloves (if you have them). Wear closed-toe shoes and long sleeves/pants to protect from the sun and ticks.
- Parent/Caregiver must attend to sign the volunteer agreement form.
